Nebraska had no business to lose

That fumble towards the end of the 4th quarter after having secured the first down was pathetic. Nebraska had no business to lose that game.

Of course I am rooting for Nebraska and Arkansas, the two out of conference teams USC has played and beaten so far.

By the way, what’s the deal with Wazzu? They beat Oregon? I guess that question should be what happened to Oregon??

Washington came close to causing another upset in the Pac-10 by tying the game and sending it to overtime with the Hail Mary.

I guess it shows that Pac-10 is not a sissy conference, really. Or does it?

  1. i have to strongly disagree with the title of this post. nebraska while i was rooting for them had a chance to run out the clock and could not do it. then they had a chance to prevent texas from getting into position for a field goal in horrible conditions and could not do so. texas deserved to win

@katie: Maybe I was not clear, or you did not get my point. What I am trying to say is that Nebraska had the game in their pocket but a simple fumble cost them ball possession and led to a Texas game-winning field goal.If the receiver had just held on to the ball, it would have meant a first down, and 3 more attempts to kill the clock. But that was not meant to be.
