The constant struggle

I am just amazed at how cell phone companies have put us in this constant struggle to make the minutes of the plan enough, but not go over.

Thank goodness for the ‘View remaining minutes’ feature on AT&T Wireless' website - I have been relatively ok for the past two months. But the month before that, I went ridiculously over the plan minutes. I mean, ridiculous in the real sense.

That is the problem when you use your cell phone partially on business work. You never know when you went for 75 minutes! One huge conference call and boom, you are going to be over your limits. For that month I did not check the website for tracking the number of minutes remaining and I unfortunately had quite a few conference calls that I used my cell phone for.

Bad idea. I went over my plan. Way over.

I half thought of upgrading my plan, but then I realized it was not the plan at fault. It was the management of the plan.

Why can’t we just have unlimited minutes for all the time?
