So blogger finally realized that they need to have their own search built in. So they created the NavBar at the top. Since blogger is owned by google, the navbar features a search by google. The search is limited to your site, provided you have submitted your site to google for indexing. You can do that here: http://www.google.com/addurl.html

Also, another neat feature is the ‘next blog’, which just goes to a random blog that was recently updated. Of course, you need to have a lot of free time to do these things :-)

So, in light of this update from blogger, I am removing my search button from the right side.
