For the second week in a row, I noticed that even at 85mph, I feel like I am driving much much slower than the other cars on the roads here. There is enough traffic here but not bumper-to-bumper. Still even 80mph on 101 in San Jose makes me feel insecure and I feel like I am the fastest on the road. And even 85 over here in San Diego seems slow.

Weird.

Or maybe it is the car I am driving - the dream American machine - Ford Taurus. Last week it was a free upgrade to Grand Marquis. Boat, I should say.
