Here comes the really long weekend. I took Friday off to go to Pismo beach with some cousins. And Monday is a holiday anyway - Presidents Day.

It felt so weird on Thursday evening because I kept thinking it was Friday. Talking to people, I kept telling everyone ‘have a good weekend’, etc. on Thursday and they were not sure what I was thinking.

Anyway, instead of leaving early morning, we are going to leave in the afternoon. But we picked up the rental car, a sad minivan. Sad because the last time we rented a minivan, it was Nissan Quest, which was so cool. This one was a Dodge Caravan and it was so tiny!

The plan is to leave by 2pm so that we can make it there by 5.30-6. Pismo, here we come!
