Just read that Inter Active Corp has bought Ask Jeeves. Also, Yahoo has picked up Flickr. Google upgraded its Picasa software. Ask Jeeves earlier bought Bloglines. MSN has created a blog product and has tried to integrate it with the rest of its MSN properties.

So much stuff going on, around search/social networking/blog space.
