I have been advising the wife about getting the carpal tunnel syndrome because of the way she works with the mouse. She has been ignoring my suggestions and ‘strong recommendations’ for some time now, and since last week her wrist has been paining and she cannot lift some relatively light things.

She has been in denial ever since I told her ‘I told you so’ and ‘It is carpal tunnel’. She has set up an appointment with our doctor for next week, and I am pretty sure he is going to say ‘carpal tunnel’. I know the symptoms because I have been there, done that.

Hopefully, she’ll understand that she does need a desk to work on a computer. Especially if it is work, and not just idle surfing.
