We have to pay for water :-(

#

Well, nothing new about it. We used to do it in the house earlier. But we were led to believe (misinformation, to a certain extent) by the City of Sunnyvale that the apartment management pays for water and that we don’t need to set up an account with the city. We called the City because earlier, in San Jose, it was the city that provided us water. Before that, in Mountain View, we did not have to pay for water.

But last week we got an invoice from a third party company that sounded like a utilities management company, handling apartment complexes. It was for hot water, cold water, sanitation, etc.

I don’t mind that, but it is just disappointing when you tune your mind to free stuff and then you get slammed for it ;-)
