USC wins with yet another second half improvement

#

The second half was definitely better than the first. But then again, the first half was not pathetic. I saw the first half and realized that if it were not for two mistakes (one fumble by Desmond Reed and the interception by Matt Leinart), USC would have been up by 2 or 3 touchdowns.

And so it is now on to the much touted USC-Notre Dame game. Pete Carroll vs Charlie Weis. I am not sure what to expect of this game. ND has been playing awesome football. I saw a couple of their games (most of the couple games) and they do look very similar to the Patriots style football. Clean, simple, efficient. Keep getting first downs and keep converting scoring opportunities. They use the tight end a lot and unfortunately for USC, all their players have started believing.

Reggie Bush is not 100% and that takes away more than one player out of the equation. I know that he will play even if he is less than 100%, and if he is in fact less than 100%, it will mean less effectiveness.

Anyway, I don’t want to talk too much about the game because I don’t want to jinx anything. Fingers crossed. It will be a good game and I am going to watch it in a public place with a classmate who is visiting us.
