What’s the point of having a radio signal-based atomic clock (and a watch) when it does not adjust the time automatically by the next morning after the change of time?

Unfortunately for me, my wall clock and my wrist watch both failed me over the past weekend. And funny enough, manually ‘syncing’ the wall clock was not even an option! I had to keep the clock by the window and in four to five DAYS (yes, DAYS!) it was expected to be updated.

Sucks. Makes me wonder what is the point of these things …
