Another thing to note about the draft is that Vince Young, USC’s opposing QB from the National Championship ended up at Tennessee, just like the last year with Jason White. Of course, White was picked undrafted and he gave up because of his bad knee, but Vince Young was pick #3, and Tennessee’s first pick, so there is a big difference.

But the coincidence is there to be noted.

And guess who is in the backfield with Young? Lendale White, the highest TD scorer in USC history 🙂 What an irony it is.
